In tonight’s visit to Emmerdale, the emotional fallout continues after an indecent image of Clemmie Reed was shared online. As the King and Tate families deal with the consequences, Laurel Thomas decides to drop another bombshell.

Elsewhere, Cain Dingle’s return to the village leaves Moira very worried about her husband’s state of mind. Will things ever improve?

1. Dawn’s left horrified over an offensive group chat

The villagers continue to deal with the repercussions after an indecent image of Clemmie Reed was shared around the school.

Jai Sharma gives Dawn Fletcher the heads-up over offensive comments that some of the boys are now making about Clemmie on a group chat. It’s clear that Clemmie’s peers are nowhere near close to forgetting about what has happened, much to her family’s dismay.

2. Laurel makes a major confession

Laurel Thomas continues to show her support to Nicola King, who’s in turmoil as her son Carl is the one who initially shared the image of Clemmie. The police have yet to confirm any official decision on whether Carl will be charged with a crime.

As Nicola spirals over the mess her family is in, Laurel admits that she was the one who reported the incident to the school after the image ended up on Archie’s phone while he was visiting Mulberry Cottage. While Laurel had entirely valid reasons for taking this route, Nicola is far from understanding – especially as Laurel has taken so long to tell her.

3. Cain makes a tense return to the village

Cain Dingle is back at Butler’s Farm following the surprising news of his arrest. Moira is very worried about Cain’s dark moods as she quizzes him on his failed mission to track down John Sugden in France.

Cain also quizzes Moira on how much the rest of the Dingle family know about his downward spiral – and he’s unimpressed by her response.

4. Moira quizzes Cain over his arrest

Moira reluctantly asks Cain for the story behind his recent arrest. Cain confesses that he started drinking heavily after getting nowhere with his search for John. This led to some self-destructive behaviour.

Cain is left annoyed as Moira urges him to get his act together, as it’s the anniversary of Zak’s death – and Sam and Belle will expect him to be involved in the Dingles paying their respects. Will Cain agree to go?

5. Liv’s remembered as Aaron and Robert discuss the future

Aaron Dingle reflects on the imminent anniversary of his sister Liv’s death in the storm disaster three years ago.

He also suggests to Robert Sugden that it’s time to go public with their romantic reunion, but Robert’s reluctant as he reflects on his secret marriage to Kev…

6. Ray puts pressure on Dylan

Ray Walters continues to put Dylan Penders in an awkward position – demanding that he gathers intel from the depot to help with transport for upcoming drug drops.
