General Hospital Spoilers October 27: Portia Faces Trina As Gio Leans on Emma

General Hospital spoilers for Monday, October 27, 2025, feature Portia and Trina having a heart-to-heart while Gio confides in Emma.

Key Takeaways

  • Trina tries to save her parents’ marriage, unaware Portia is ready to move on — and hiding a shocking affair.
  • Portia enjoys her freedom but must face Trina’s hope of keeping the family together.
  • Gio opens up to Emma after an emotional talk with Lois about his adoption and Brook Lynn’s sacrifice.
  • Sonny and Sidwell’s rivalry reignites as the two power players face off once again.
  • Lulu reels after learning upsetting family news involving Nathan, Rocco, and a secret dinner she wasn’t told about.

Trina and Portia

Trina (Tabyana Ali) is taking steps to prevent her parents from getting a divorce. At the Brown Dog, she asked Jordan (Tanisha Harper) to give her parents time and space to repair their relationship. Unfortunately, Trina has no idea that Portia (Brook Kerr) is good with splitting up with Curtis (Donnell Turner). In fact, she’s enjoying her freedom from having to live up to Curtis’s high standards.

Trina also has no idea that her mother is having an affair with one of the doctors at GH. Will any of this come up during Portia and Trina’s Monday heart-to-heart? How will Portia handle Trina’s unwillingness to see her parents go through a divorce?

Gio and Emma

Meanwhile, Gio (Giovanni Mazza) confides in Emma (Braedyn Bruner). Perhaps he needs to express how he feels about the conversation he just had with Lois (Rena Sofer). Lois made sure to place the blame for everything that had happened to him on her. She told him that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) didn’t just give him up willy-nilly. She made the greatest sacrifice and is now living with those consequences.

Additionally, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) knew nothing about Brook Lynn’s pregnancy or adoption, and Lois hopes he can see that and start to forge some sort of connection with his biological parents when he’s ready. She also hopes that he will pick up the violin again and rediscover his love for music.

It’s a lot to unpack, and he needs someone’s help to make sense of it all. Maybe that’s why Gio confides in Emma.

Sonny and Sidwell

There hasn’t been a Sidwell (Carlo Rota) versus Sonny (Maurice Benard, who’s asking for your help) moment for a while, but the drama between the two has been simmering under the surface. Get ready for the fury to bubble up since the two are poised for an epic confrontation. At least that is what could happen when Sidwell approaches Sonny on Monday. When these alpha crime lords meet up, how tense will things get?

Lulu and Nathan

When Lulu (Alexa Havins) receives upsetting news, it may be related to what Nathan (Ryan Paevey) told her during Friday’s episode. It isn’t enough that she just had to facilitate a meeting between Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Lulu just found out that Rocco (Finn Carr) had a sweet family dinner. But not with her family. He had a sit-down at the Metro Court Hotel restaurant with Nathan, Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud).

There’s no way Lulu appreciates hearing about this get-together from Nathan. She should have heard about it from Rocco. Additionally, Charlotte was aware of it and didn’t mention it either. Let’s hope Lulu doesn’t get to see that group photo Rocco took.

Finally, Nathan (who was recently the voice of reason for Cynthia Watros’ Nina) makes a promise. Does this mean Jason (Steve Burton) catches up to him? Stone Cold told the Jackal that he would discuss the new family dynamics with Nathan. He hopes Jason will pave the way for Nathan to blend in with the family and support James that way, instead of taking him away and raising James on his own. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) loves that kid and doesn’t want to lose him.
