Emmerdale fans ‘gutted’ as they issue demand over Marlon Dingle ‘death’ twist
Fans of the ITV soap made a demand after it was thought Marlon had been killed in a shocking twist
Emmerdale fans have admitted to feeling ‘gutted’ as they made a demand after it was thought Marlon Dingle had been killed in a shocking twist.
The beloved character, played by Mark Charnock, has been worried for his daughter, April Windsor, as she continues to distance herself from him and the rest of their family.
During Tuesday’s (November 4) edition of the ITV soap, April, played by Amelia Flanagan, was seen visiting her dad, with the special episode between just the two character’s exposing the teen’s hidden turmoil.
Wrapped up in Ray and Celia’s drug ring, April and her boyfriend Dylan Penders seemingly had no way out after April stepped in to help after he left rehab, only to be robbed at knifepoint of the drugs, leaving the pair with a huge debt to pay.
Struggling to pay off their “debt”, April and Dylan have been participating in dangerous situations, with April recently seen being expected to sleep with a young man, after he paid Celia.
But she panicked when he tried to force himself upon her and she whacked him with a bottle, before leaving him for dead. With Ray and Celia having cleaned up her mess, April has found herself even more indebted to the duo.
During the latest visit to the Dales, April was seen paying a rare visit home, having moved into the B&B with her grandfather, Bob Hope, and was seen spending time with Marlon as they reminiced about her younger years, bonding over a hot chocolate and smell of Parkin baking in the oven.

Eventually, April was seen confessing everything that had been going on to her horrified dad, who vowed to help her and keep her safe. As he prepared for them to go to the police, Ray stormed in and pointed a gun in Marlon’s direction.
April pleaded with him not to hurt her dad, and kill her instead. But as Marlon insisted on calling the police, Ray pulled the trigger and shot the chef, before April watched him die in front of her very eyes.
However, it was then revealed that everything was a dream, and Marlon was still very much alive. Having headed to spend time with her dad, April was seen transfixed in a daydream, clearly wanting to tell Marlon the truth about what has been happening.
Troubled by her own thoughts, April made an excuse to leave, but not before embracing her dad, and telling him how much she loves him as her future continues to remain uncertain.
While Emmerdale fans were relieved to see that Marlon wasn’t killed, they were disappointed that April still hadn’t told her dad the truth, and have demanded the news come to light sooner rather than later.
