Why General Hospital Fans Think Ned Quartermaine Is Leaving the Soap
After several big twists and turns, it seems that General Hospital is now focusing on Ned Quartermaine, and as per the latest developments, he may not have the best chance of survival, as it stands. As Ned seemingly battles on the edge of life and death, the show also depicts Drew hitting a new low.
Here’s what is up with Ned and why fans think he may not make it further in the soap opera.
Will Ned Quartermaine die in General Hospital?
After the developments of the latest episode of General Hospital, there is a good chance that Ned Quartermaine could die on the show. Of course, there wasn’t enough to confirm that this was the exact thing that was happening, but all the occurrences seemed to point to it.
In the recent episode of the soap opera, Drew told cousin Ned that Tracy’s boxes of Quartermaine family heirlooms haven’t been lost. Instead, he had moved them to his house. As expected, this caused quite a reaction as Ned raged on.
The angry Ned accused Drew of being a thief and, in the heat of the moment, collapsed on the ground, seemingly from a heart attack. Drew, in response, laughed it out, assuming that Ned was faking it.

The show did not conclusively reveal what happened to Ned. But it seems that there is still danger surrounding his character. He had been the patriarch of the family since Edward’s passing, and his going away will change the dynamics further.
Is Wally Kurth leaving General Hospital?
While Kurth’s character seems to be in a complicated place at the moment, there is nothing that indicates that the actor is leaving the show. Neither Kurth nor anyone else has hinted at his exit yet. But it may still happen if the storyline demands it.
Hopefully, the actor will continue to appear sporadically on the show like he has for a while now.
