B&B Has Two Weddings On The Books But Only One May Happen

The Bold and the Beautiful has two Logan weddings in the works. However, the soap has been playing so fast and loose with upcoming nuptials that it’s quite possible we only see one ceremony before the year ends. Based on Wednesday, September 10’s episode, that’s looking like Brooke and Ridge’s.

Office Nuptials

Motivated to move full steam ahead by the memory of almost losing Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge not only proposed to her, but he’s also trying to get married on the spot. As soon as Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) walked into the CEO office, Ridge leaped at the chance to put Carter’s abilities as a wedding officiant to use.

While it’s possible Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) could arrive at Forrester Creations and interrupt their vows, he’s got a slim chance to do so. Currently, he’s comforting Taylor (Rebecca Budig), who’d broken the news to him that she and his father ended their engagement. She tried to assure her son that she’ll be fine, but this is a pattern for Ridge. One Thomas warned his father of repeating. Why Ridge is the real loser in B&B’s triangle.

Carter, Hope, Brooke, and Ridge Bold and the Beautiful.

Thomas isn’t aware that the impromptu ceremony is happening. Walking in just as his dad remarries Brooke could definitely lead to a verbal showdown that sours the day. But, no matter what happens, it does seem Ridge is set on making Brooke his wife. So delayed nuptials or not, these two have the surest bet of getting wed.

A Logan On The Fence

In contrast, Carter’s eagerness to get married hasn’t been met with the same enthusiasm that Ridge has received from Brooke. Hope (Annika Noelle—read her thoughts on Hope’s love life) wasn’t keen on having a quick wedding.

She’s been dragging her feet on setting a date just like Ridge was when he was engaged to Taylor. And, she’s being pursued by her ex-spouse just like he was. The parallels are very apparent in these storylines, including there being a well of history between Hope and Liam (Scott Clifton).

However, Ridge at least has an unwavering bond with Taylor that’s comparable to his love for Brooke. Carter and Hope are a new couple. They barely survived the first threat to their relationship. It’s difficult to believe Carter will prevail over Liam.

We’ve already seen how Hope’s excitement over the engagement has waned. While she did remind Liam that she’s committed to Carter, she’s also been entertaining his pursuit of her. That’s not a good sign for Carter. Not to mention, he has someone waiting in the wings for him as well.

Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) has made no secret of the feelings she has for the COO even as she respects his engagement. If Hope slips up, Daphne could be the very person he turns to for comfort. The same could be said of Hope with Liam. If Carter is caught kissing Daphne again, the person Hope’s certain to run to is her ex.

No matter how the story turns for Cope, it’s hard to see a marriage in the cards for them. But Hope and Liam are a different story. They could pull a Bridge if the parallels continue, making Hope a married woman but not Carter’s wife.
