On today’s General Hospital recap:

Chase Consults With Alexis to Secure Willow’s Alibi

Gio confides in Sonny that Dante doesn’t want him as his son. Sonny reassures him Dante said things in the heat of the moment because he’s worried about Rocco. Gio doesn’t want to put Sonny in the middle.

Laura tries to call Alexis but gets her voicemail, so she calls someone to help. Nathan comes across her on the side of the road. She tells him that she got a flat but when Nathan goes to open her trunk, along comes Sonny. Nathan gets called away on another call and heads out. Sonny opens the trunk, finding Dalton’s body. He tells Laura that they need to leave.

Cody joins Molly and Kristina at the bar, but Kristina leaves them alone in order to talk to Jacinda. She asks about Charlie’s, but Kristina says there was structural damage and they won’t be reopening. Molly talks to Cody about country music and how she’s not familiar and the two share a dance.

Chase tells Alexis that Michael provided a false alibi and Ezra told him he was with Jacinda that night. Alexis says she can’t put Chase on the stand since it would be considered hearsay. Chase says he’ll get proof on Michael, but Alexis says it won’t exonerate Willow. She says he’s taking a risk and wonders if it’s worth his career. He says Willow is worth the risk.

Jason Helps Clean Up Laura’s Mess

Jason updates Britt on Rocco’s situation and how Danny and Charlotte will come forward in the morning. Jason says the key fob was stolen from her purse and wants to know why she’d have a key to Dalton’s lab. Britt wants him to leave, but Jason thinks it has to do with the Fat Puppies and believes she and Dalton are working together.

Britt says she doesn’t owe him any explanation, but he says he wants to help her. She says if she tells him, he’d have to put her first and not risk her life. Jason gets the call from Sonny and is forced to leave her. Jason gets to Laura’s car, changes the flat and drives the car away.

Gio and Brook Lynn Find Common Ground on General Hospital

Brook Lynn tells Michael they haven’t told Tracy the truth about Ned’s surgery and worries her grandmother will be upset for not knowing. She says she’s upset about Dante and Gio and how angry Dante got.

Michael says all fathers and sons have their challenging times just like with him and Sonny, but Carly helps. He brings up Willow and how his kids can’t count on her but it’s different for Brook Lynn and Gio. She worries she’ll just end up pushing Gio away. Michael leaves on the pretext of getting something for her.

Gio comes across Brook Lynn, having been summoned by Michael to help her. She asks him to stay and tells him that she knows he was trying to help Rocco. She says he had no way of knowing the teens were going to break into the lab. Gio says if he’d known what they were going to do, he would have stopped them.

Brook Lynn commends him for taking responsibility for his part. She says he can’t blame himself for Rocco’s actions and won’t have a problem telling Dante. Gio thanks her and calls her “Mom”. The two share a hug, which a smiling Michael sees.

Sonny Assures Laura He Will Take Care of Everything on General Hospital

Laura cries and tells Sonny she’s supposed to be celebrating her win tonight. She says she didn’t know what to do when she saw the body but admits she checked for a pulse. Sonny says they have to make sure there is no evidence Dalton was in her car. He says her car will be in her driveway tomorrow morning after it’s been detailed. Sonny says he’ll get rid of the body because someone is trying to make trouble for her.

Laura points the finger at Ezra, Drew and Sidwell.
