General Hospital ended on a high note last week. Laura completely freezes at what she finds in her car and calls for backup. Meanwhile, Chase gives Alexis his lead as he gets closer to nullifying Michael’s alibi.

Laura’s shocking discovery

Laura finds Dalton’s body in the trunk of her car. She checks if he’s still alive, but to her horror, he is long gone. Her worries intensify after she remembers her very public spat with Dalton and thinks about how badly this looks. She calls for backup and gets back in the car.

Molly and Cody share a dance

Molly and Kristina are enjoying their drinks when Cody walks in. Kristina goes away, leaving the two to talk. They have a playful exchange when a song plays. Cody takes the opportunity to ask her to dance with him, which she accepts with pleasure.

Gio shares his worries with Sonny

Back at Metro Court, Gio confides in Sonny about his troubled relationship with Dante. Sonny advises him to be patient. Later, Sonny calls Jason, who’s with Britt at the moment, to help him with Laura’s trouble. Jason wraps up his conversation with her and leaves.

Sonny and Jason come to Laura’s rescue

On the highway, Officer Nathan arrives out of nowhere and asks Laura what’s wrong. Fortunately, Sonny comes in just in time and lets Nathan know that he can help Laura with her flat tire. When Nathan goes away and the two are alone, Sonny opens the trunk to see what’s inside. Soon after, Jason arrives and drives away with her car.

At Laura’s office, Sonny assures her that someone is trying to frame her and that all of the evidence will be gone by morning.

Brook Lynn’s heartfelt conversation with Gio

At the hospital, Brook Lynn shares her concerns with Michael about tensions between Dante and Gio. Later, Gio arrives at the hospital, and Brook Lynn has a heartfelt conversation with her son, leading to an emotional moment.

Chase gets closer to the truth

Chase visits Alexis at her office and tells her that Ezra, in a drunken state, admitted to being with Jacinda on the night of Drew’s shooting. She tells him that she can’t take Ezra’s words seriously and needs solid evidence. She also warns Chase that he could endanger his career if he gets too involved with Ezra. However, he’s not worried and believes that proving Willow’s innocence is worth it.
