General Hospital’ Fan Favorite Defends Co-Stars Amid Charlie Kirk Death Backlash

Nearly two months after Ozzy Osbourne’s death at 76, Sharon shared a candid note of gratitude and a glimpse of healing.

Sharon Osbourne is speaking directly to the fans who have been filling her inbox since Ozzy Osbourne’s death.

Sharon and Ozzy’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, 40, shared an Instagram video capturing an outing to a falconry with her mother. Two days later, on Friday, September 12, Sharon posted her own clip of that same day with a special message to fans.

“I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media,” she captioned the clip. Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it’s carried me through many nights. Though I’m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with.”

Sharon continued: “The connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence. They’ll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them. It’s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.I love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way.”

In her previously shared post, Kelly wrote, “Today I introduced my mum to falconry and she loved it!”

In the clip, an owl is seen perching on Kelly’s head before gliding to Sharon’s gloved hand at her daughter’s cue: “Mum, put your hand out.”

Sharon gives the bird a gentle pat and tells it, “I don’t have anything to give you.”

Kelly, 40, has also been frank about the shock of losing her father, sharing her own message last month about the unpredictable rhythm of mourning.

“Grief is a strange thing,” she previously wrote on her Instagram Stories. “It sneaks up on you in waves—I will not be ok for a while—but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference. I’m holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind.”

She added that “The love, support, and beautiful messages I’ve received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain.”

Ozzy, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and cofounder of Black Sabbath, died on July 22 at age 76.
