Days of our Lives December 9 The Rinse: Is Kristen Working with Peter?

On the December 9 episode of Days of our Lives, Kristen brought up the name of her long-gone brother, Peter, prompting her other brother, Chad, and nephew Theo to observe that everyone always forgets Peter. It’s obvious that Kristen hasn’t. And now that we know he is on his way back to Salem, we have to wonder if the two adopted siblings might not be working in tandem?

Key Takeaways:

  • Kristen and Peter are the only non-blood DimMeras
  • Kristen could have only pretended to be kidnapped
  • Peter will be her eyes on the outside, and Kristen on the inside

You and Me Against the World

Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) loves all his children equally (including the ones he’s had killed). He made no difference between Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Peter (now Dan Gauthier), and his endless list of biological kids (remember Renee? Benjy?). In fact, Kristen and Peter are a lot more like him than goodie-goodies like Chad (Billy Flynn), and Lexie, Theo’s (Tyler Joseph Anderws) mother.

Yet, no matter how much Stefano doted on them, Kristin and Peter (read up on Peter Blake’s history) always felt slightly second-best. Which is why it makes sense that Peter would want to eliminate all the biological heirs. And why Kristen would be in on it with him.

But isn’t Kristen as trapped as the rest of them? That’s what she says. But she sure seemed negative regarding any suggestion about escaping, going so far as to cry about an injury that would keep her from helping Chad climb up… and out. She would certainly not be the first villain to pass herself off as a victim. Remember Hans Gruber in Die Hard?

Together Again

It makes sense that Peter would plant Kristen among his prey, so she could figure out what they were thinking and feed that information back to baby brother. Kristen is Peter’s woman on the inside. Peter is Kristen’s man on the outside. Together, they’ll take over the entire family. And prove themselves the best DiMeras, after all.
