B&B Recap December 10: Ridge Skips the Wedding

At the office, Brooke arrives and mentions she’s heading to the wedding. She wonders if Ridge will change his mind, but he tells her he already talked to Hope, and she understands. She kisses him, then heads out.

Steffy finds her dad at the office and wonders why he isn’t at the wedding. He explains he decided to take a pass, especially since Bill is there. Any chance he gets to avoid seeing Bill, he’s taking it.

Ridge wonders how Kelly feels about the wedding. Steffy says she likes Hope and just wants her dad to be happy, the way she is with Finn. Ridge notes that all the guests are arriving, except one. Steffy points out that Sheila wasn’t invited.

Steffy asks about Eric. Ridge says he hasn’t spoken to him since the retirement party.

Sheila Visits Taylor

Sheila rushes into Taylor’s office, pleading to speak with her. She is upset that she was left off the guest list, especially since her husband is the father of the bride.

Sheila says she’s a changed woman since she met Deacon. She insists she’s not the old Sheila Carter—she’s a new Sheila Carter. She had hoped to be at her husband’s side at the wedding, but it doesn’t look like she’ll ever be accepted.

Taylor understands that Sheila is upset, but she shouldn’t be so surprised that she’s not invited to the wedding. Sheila points out that she’s done everything she can—she even saved Steffy’s life—yet no one sees her differently. Taylor warns her not to crash the wedding, for her own good and everyone else’s.

The Wedding

Hope and Liam are with the kids since it’s their wedding day. Douglas is back from Paris and excited for them. Hope mentions she has to head upstairs because a few anxious aunts are waiting on her to finally get into her wedding dress.

The guests start arriving, including Bill, who’s excited for his son. Then Will and Electra show up, and they’re just as excited.

Beth tells Will and Electra that she’ll save her services for when they get married, though Electra doesn’t think they’re there yet. Deacon and Deke arrive, and Deacon says he wants to talk to Liam before the wedding.

Bill tells him to lay off, but Deacon just laughs, shakes their hands, and congratulates Liam on the wedding. Brooke arrives, apologizing for being late. She’s glowing, they’re beautiful. Hope tries not to cry and hugs her mom, while Brooke is thrilled to see her beautiful daughter getting married.

Deacon checks in with Liam, who insists this will be the last time he and Hope get married. He will not let her slip away again.

Hope Walks Down the Aisle

While her aunts and mom help her get ready, they take selfies and sip champagne.

Liam tells his dad that he got a text from Wyatt apologizing for not making it to the wedding. Meanwhile, Hope and her aunts and mom go through the “something old, something borrowed, something blue” traditions. Hope is happy for all the Logan love—it’s finally time to get ready.

Everyone gets into their places as the bride is about to make her entrance. Will takes a moment to tell Electra that he knows the bride is supposed to be the most beautiful woman today—but she is. Electra warns him to wait until he sees Hope, but he doubts that will change anything.

Everyone takes their seats as Hope makes her entrance, walking down the aisle to the music Douglas plays. Beth tells her mom that she looks absolutely beautiful and wonders if she’s ready to get married. “Yes, I am,” Hope smiles.
