Emmerdale fans have predicted John Sugden’s end will come at the hands of a character he’s “scared of”.

Today’s episode saw John and husband Aaron Dingle wake up in hospital after the Emmerdale villain pushed himself and Aaron off a cliff. As John was walking around the hospital, trying to find Aaron to kill him, Cain Dingle bumped into him, asking him if he was causing any trouble.

Cain is currently unaware of John’s misdemeanours, including killing Nate Robinson and holding Mackenzie Boyd captive. Today’s episode ended with him giving John a lift away from the hospital, just as Aaron was telling Chas Dingle that John had Mack.

So when Cain finds out what John has done from Chas, Emmerdale fans think he might be the one to bring John down.

Hailey posted on social media: “Can’t wait for Cain to find out the truth he won’t let John get away with any of this.” Doreen Moffit said: “Oh, John’s scared to see Cain.” Another fan said: “Come on, Cain! Take down John as soon as Chas tells him the truth about what she knows – AND JOHN WILL BE WITH HIM WHEN CAIN FINDS OUT.”

Imogen said: “So this means Chas will call Cain immediately, to ask him where he is and to tell him that Aaron has come around saying what John has done. Cain will still be with John and hopefully he’ll drag him back (or beat him up for all I care).”

Annie Sugden added: “Johns got Mackenzie” clear as crystal. Operation kick the crap out of John is now going to commence. Hes in the clutches of Cain yes! Let’s go!”
