At the café, we see a replay of Lulu and Nathan leaning in for a kiss. Lulu gasps and pulls away, but they quickly resume kissing. However, she pushes him away again, saying they can’t do this.
Lulu tries to blame the kiss on the storm, the booze, and them not thinking clearly, but Nathan has wanted to kiss her for a long time. Lulu admits she has feelings for him, too, and Maxie would kill her for that.
Will They or Won’t They?
Nathan says they can’t ignore their feelings, but Lulu says they can’t ignore Maxie. Nathan points out that Maxie moved on, and perhaps he should too. However, Lulu feels it would crush Maxie if she found out about them.
