‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Maxie Declare Nathan as an Imposter-Who Is He? Fans Speculate

‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is set to wake up this coming week on Thursday, February 12th.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Many Fans Want Maxie and Spinelli to Stay Together
Fans have speculated for some time that Nathan West (Ryan Paevy) isn’t who he says he is. What if Maxie wakes up and declares that Nathan is an imposter?

It would give many fans what they want: for Maxie and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to stay together and keep their blended family intact.

However, if this so-called Nathan is an imposter, then who is this man who is claiming to be the son of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati)?

General Hospital spoilers Nathan is worried GH

Right now, a few theories are floating around the internet. One is that Nathan is really a clone created by Faison using technology.

It’s not hard to imagine that he would start on a project like this before he died. Cloning human beings isn’t exactly out of the realm of possibility when it comes to Faison.

Another theory is that Nathan is really Faison himself, in disguise. It seems like Nathan’s feelings for Maxie have sort of disappeared.

Why General Hospital Fans Think Nathan Is an Imposter

It’s a plausible explanation, especially considering that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) believes that Faison is still alive, and that she even saw Faison while being held hostage at Wyndemere.

Nathan may also be Peter August (Wes Ramsey). We saw Peter taunting Anna last week. It wouldn’t surprise us if Nathan were really Peter.

However, these scenarios all seem more Days of Our Lives’ style than General Hospital, despite the fact that the whole Faison/Obrecht clan has miraculously come back from the dead.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nathan Doesn’t Remember the Past Seven Years
The DiMera family on DOOL, having clones running around or one character disguised as someone else, is par for the course on the Peacock soap.

However, GH appears to be leaning somewhat toward the fantasy genre rather than soapy fiction lately. The number of viewers who think this man isn’t really Nathan is quite substantial.

Plus, Nathan apparently doesn’t even remember the past seven years of his life. Some of the audience also wonder whether this new “Nathan” is a part of Faison’s cold fusion project.

Nathan’s sister, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is being forced to conduct research for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).

We have to wonder if this may be the reason for the cold fusion project: cloning humans. Faison’s work is of particular interest to the WSB.

Nathan’s return may be dropping breadcrumbs that lead to the answers fans are seeking about whatever is going on at Wyndemere.

Why wouldn’t Nathan also be involved? Not to mention, Nathan and Maxie’s BFF, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), has considerable chemistry with them.

If it’s not really Nathan, fans may find it easier to accept Lulu and Nathan as a couple. However, Lulu hooking up with Maxie’s husband is admittedly a tough pill to swallow.

Lulu and Nathan smooch

If Maxie knows it’s not Nathan, Lulu, and Nathan can feel free to have romantic feelings for each other without that lingering complication.

Regardless, we can’t imagine how shocked Maxie will be when she wakes up to find the face of her presumed dead husband staring back at hers.
