After the epic Corriedale crossover saw John Sugden meet his demise, Victoria Sugden left the village for a fresh start with son Harry, leaving Robert alone to deal with losing his farmland to Joe Tate.
Thanks to Joe’s blackmailing, Robert managed to frame Moira Dingle for the deaths of both Celia Daniels and Anya – a slave worker on Celia and Ray’s horrific farm. As Moira faces time for a crime she didn’t commit, Bear Wolf admitted to murdered Ray Walters in the hopes that it would prove Moira’s innocence.

Meanwhile, Cain Dingle has kept his prostate cancer diagnosis a secret from his loved ones, even Moira. Although he told Sarah Sugden the truth, the secret has started to weigh heavy on them both.
Here’s what’s to come next in the Dales…
Cain tells Moira everything…
Looking out over Butlers’ land on the brink of losing it all, guilty Cain can barely cope with hearing Moira’s gratitude over him keeping everything going in her absence. With the pressure of Joe and invoices to pay, Cain tells Sarah how Joe has truly got him snookered with the threat of prison. Sarah tells him the time has come to tell Moira the truth before things unravel any further.
Meanwhile, with her own relationship suffering due to the secrets she is carrying, Sarah struggles when kindly Belle asks what is going on. It pains Sarah she can’t tell her the truth. Meanwhile, in the Woolpack Toilets, after a difficult and painful urination, the sight of blood in the toilet bowl leaves Cain terrified for his future.

And soon Moira’s world falls apart after Cain tells her the cancer he said she didn’t need to worry about is actually much worse. Moira struggles to hear Cain’s had his diagnosis for a month. And urges him to break the news to Kyle, Isaac and the wider family.
Moira’s gutted to hear the latest about the farm and Joe Tate, but she tells Cain his health is more important. Cain realises he needs to face his future head on. The next day, Joe feels unappreciated when his masterplan to add Butlers Farm to the Tate empire fails to impress Kim. That afternoon, a quiet and withdrawn Cain starts the process of telling the family about his cancer. Meanwhile, Kim arrives for her Prison summit with Moira but will it go as she expects?

Graham gives Rhona a chance for a future together…
Graham lets on to Rhona he knew about Cain’s diagnosis and this is what motivated him to play both sides in Cain’s battle with Joe. Lydia unwittingly observes a charged moment between Rhona and Graham.
The next day, Lydia tells Kim about spotting Graham with Rhona yesterday, Kim convinces herself this info doesn’t bother her. Whilst Graham gives Rhona an ultimatum to meet him today at half 12 or he’ll keep his distance for good. Rhona’s left with a decision to make. Nervous Graham waits for Rhona on the Footbridge, determined to take this chance to speak his truth.
