Sara Paxton & Connor Price Join Grey’s Anatomy: What to Expect in S22E11

Grey’s Anatomy came back from its recent hiatus with season 22, episode 11, titled “(If You Want It) Do It Yourself.” In this episode, tensions rise as Teddy and Winston butt heads over a complicated patient, while Owen and Jules collaborate to treat a urologist. True to Grey’s tradition, the hour also delivers an impressive lineup of guest stars guaranteed to have viewers wondering where they’ve seen them before.

The standout guest appearance in episode 11 comes from actress Sara Paxton, whose résumé includes a wide range of fan-favorite projects. Joining the Grey’s universe, Paxton portrays Leticia, the pregnant sister of Corban — Teddy’s patient. She is widely recognized for playing the lead in the 2006 family comedy Aquamarine and for stepping into the role of Marnie Piper in Return to Halloweentown, taking over from Kimberly J. Brown in the franchise’s final installment. Beyond those films, Paxton’s credits span numerous popular movies and television series, including the 2025 horror hit Weapons and The Last House on the Left. Audiences may also remember her from Based on a True Story, Murder in the First, Blonde, Barbarian, Good Girls, Twin Peaks, Superhero Movie, and Sydney White.

Connor Price also appears in season 22, episode 11, playing Corban — the patient at the heart of Teddy and Winston’s disagreement, whose medical background proves especially complex. Sci-fi fans may know Price from Syfy’s Being Human, where he portrayed Kenny Fisher during the show’s final two seasons. Others may recognize him as Harry James in the Canadian espionage drama X Company, among many other roles. His extensive credits also include appearances in Overcompensating, Tracker, The Rookie, Chicago Med, FBI: International, R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour, Supernatural, and Cinderella Man.

Completing the episode’s key guest cast are Brian McGovern and Jessica Lord. McGovern plays a man who attempted to perform a vasectomy on himself, while Lord appears as his wife. With nearly 40 years in television, McGovern first gained attention for his role as Chaz Saybrook on the daytime drama Ryan’s Hope. Since then, he has built an extensive career with roles in series such as Melrose Place, Scrubs, What I Like About You, ER, CSI: Miami, Hawaii Five-0, The Rookie, The Lincoln Lawyer, Matlock, and 911. Lord, meanwhile, is best known for portraying Lena Grisky in Find Me in Paris and Lola in The Next Step.

Episode 11 also introduces a new recurring character: Dr. Toni Wright, played by Jen Landon. A former medical school classmate of Amelia’s, Toni appears poised to potentially become a romantic interest for her. Landon is widely known for her role as Gwen Norbeck on As the World Turns and for playing Teeter on the hit drama Yellowstone. She also had recurring roles in seasons two and three of CBS’s FBI: Most Wanted.
