Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, September 22: Fatherly encouragement

First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Tate gets a push from Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) to do the right thing. We see two possibilities here. If he mentions what he did to Sophia Choi (Rachel Boy), we’d hope Brady would call his son out for that and insist that he makes things right with Sophia, as coming on to her was too much. Not to mention being disrespectful to his relationship with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).

If he doesn’t know about the kiss, he’ll at least hear about the big fight. We think he’ll try to encourage Tate to make things up to Holly and back off on the adoption issue with Sophia to keep the peace. Brady knows he already has things in place to learn the truth anyway, so he shouldn’t see a need for Tate to cause himself more problems by trying to dig more himself.

Elsewhere, Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens) is all ears as Johnny worries about what’s next. We assume this means that he has heard about the lawsuit over Titan’s takeover of DiMera and is worried about what this might mean for his job. After all, if Titan goes down, then there’s no job for him. Unless he’s asked to join DiMera, which might be an iffy thing. We all know Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) has no intention of making Gabi DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) the new CEO. He wants fresh blood, and he might not like that Johnny went to work for the people that took away the family legacy.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, September 22: Bad news?

Finally, disturbing news comes Marlena’s way. We assume they’ll either still not find any concrete answers about her current situation, or the tests will confirm she has something wrong with her physically. We know the actress has stated before she’d like to see Marlena deal with a serious illness, but we really hope this is all going to be a lot less serious than it sounds right now. There are already a couple of losses the show is still dealing with, plus a lot of other drama in Marlena’s family. We honestly think this is not the time to pile it on.
