Days of our Lives’ Sal Stowers Turns Pain Into Empowerment

Days of our Lives star Sal Stowers has launched a new venture that is all about helping other women, and she’s getting help from some of her co-stars, too.

Going From Pain To a Powerful Movement

In a social media share, Stowers (Lani) got real about what led her to create Women to Women, a series for women to help women.

Stowers got the idea after she woke up from a nap to hear God tell her, “Women to Women.” It’s a simple concept: She goes out to find women who are willing to share their advice with younger women.

“This past year has been one of the hardest of my life. I’ve carried a lot of pain, self-doubt, and uncertainty. But instead of letting it break me, I turned inward. I focused on my self-love journey, embraced my feminine energy, and began stepping fully into my power,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram promoting Women to Women with her DOOL co-stars.

Stowers explained that she wished she had this kind of guidance and empowerment as she navigated being a teen and young woman.

“Normally, I would’ve waited. Tried to make it perfect. Curated every detail. Procrastinated until I felt “ready.” But instead, I chose to listen. I chose action. I reached out to the publicity team on my show, and I started filming the women around me, my castmates, my community, real women with real voices. That’s how Women to Women was born,” Stowers expressed.

Although she isn’t sure she knows exactly where the series is headed, Stowers vows to never stop using her voice to help young women and girls.

Stowers got her DAYS family involved for the video tease with Mary Beth Evans (Kayla), Abigail Klein (Stephanie), Martha Madison (Belle), Jackée Harry (Paulina), AnnaLynne McCord (Cat), Ella Cantu (Jada), Emily O’Brien (Gwen), Stacy Haiduk (Kristen), and Cherie Jimenez (Gabi) all showing up to help her.
