Tamara Braun Gives a Glimpse of Her New Y&R Role as Sienna Bacall, and First Airdate Revealed
This summer, fans of The Young and the Restless learned that four actors will be joining the show in a mystery story that will be kicking off this fall. Along with Roger Howarth (who’s role is still unspecified at this time), Lucas Adams who will be the recast Noah Newman, and Matt Cohen who will be playing detective Burrow, two-time Daytime Emmy winner, Tamara Braun also joined the cast in the role of Sienna Bacall.
Now, in the September 29, 2025 edition of TV Guide Magazine on sale now, Braun teases a bit more of the back-story of just who is Sienna Bacall? Braun shares, “She runs a club in Hollywood. There’s mystery there, which I think is a really cool way to introduce a character – and very fitting for a soap.”
In previous casting news on the character of Sienna, she was said to have a connection to various established characters on the show. In addition, it was announced that Tamara’s first on-screen appearance is just a few weeks away, when she makes her Y&R debut on the October 14 episode of the top-rated soap opera.

Y&R’s executive producer and head writer, Josh Griffith teased the arrival of his new casting additions to TV Insider in his Y&R fall preview stating, that he’s created a “major L.A. noir story” that centers around Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) who need to save their son, Noah, from, “a very dangerous situation that will involve Tamara and Roger’s characters.”
When GH’s Rory Gibson (Michael Corinthos) was written-off Y&R as the previous Noah Newman, the character was a club owner/promoter having first opened Genoa City’s Glam Club before heading off the canvas and to London in 2023 to opens its second location in the UK.
Daytime viewers first came to know Tamara Braun when she became the second Carly Corinthos on General Hospital back in 2001. Later, she landed the role of Ava Vitali on Days of our Lives in 2008 and won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Daytime Drama Series for her performance. She then created the role of Reese Williams on All My Children. Tamara returned to DAYS in 2011 as Taylor Walker and later came back to the soap reprising the role of Ava from 2015-2016.
