Sally left Marchetti behind to take a chance on Abbott Communications, only to discover that Billy’s obsession with revenge against Victor (Eric Braeden) caused the company to collapse.

The revelation cut deeply, and Hope’s performance captured Sally’s heartbreak, her fury, and the disorienting sense of betrayal. The way she called out Billy while showing Sally’s hurt gave those scenes their raw intensity.

Torn Between Love and Loss
