Who Should Monica Leave Her House to on General Hospital? Vote Now!
For many years, a running joke on General Hospital ensured that everyone was made well aware that the Quartermaine mansion was Monica’s house “because Alan gave it to her” (as a wedding present when they first tied the knot back in 1978). However, now that Monica has passed away, viewers are wondering who Monica bequeathed the house to in her will. A fun video posted to GH social media shares multiple clips of various people reciting the familiar refrain, intercut with cast members offering up their suggestions on who might inherit the estate.
All in the Family
“I mean, is there a world where she leaves it to Tracy?” wondered Amanda Setton (Brook Lynn). “The matriarch of the Quartermaine family?” Newcomer Giovanni Mazza happened to agree… eventually. “Once I found out that I’m a Quartermaine, I think maybe me,” he joked. “But Tracy probably deserves it the most.”
On the other hand, Wally Kurth (Ned) didn’t think his character’s mother would be inheriting the mansion. “Not to Tracy,” he declared, laughing as he added, “It won’t be me, either!” The actor then paused and admitted he didn’t know who Monica should leave her house to.

Finola Hughes (Anna) had an interesting suggestion to bypass the current generation entirely. “I think that the house should be left to the young ones,” she suggested. “Like, the really small little new kids that are coming up.” Brook Kerr (Portia) teased, “I’m thinking her new co-chief of staff,” which earned a hearty chuckle from co-star Donnell Turner (Curtis).
