Sophia (Rachel Boyd) didn’t want Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) to adopt her baby. Not after they pulled the plug on their first attempt. So Sophia made sure it didn’t happen.

Chanel is devastated. Sophia should be thrilled. She’s not. Because now her scheming has gotten out of her control.

And she doesn’t know what will happen next. So Sophia panics. And you know what happens when Sophia panics. Nothing good….

Tate Turns to Brady

Tate (Leo Howard) is determined to find out why Sophia won’t tell him the whole truth about their “daughter.” So he decided to manipulate her, going as far as kissing her, hoping to convince her that the two of them have a future together.

Then, once she confides in him, Tate will kick her to the curb. What a guy! Sophia isn’t falling for it… we hope.

Meanwhile, Brady (Eric Martsolf) has a plan of his own. He asked for a DNA test to be run on firehouse baby Tesoro to see if the only Asian infant in town might be related to the only Asian family in town.

Brady didn’t confide in Tate about that. But Tate does confide in Brady. Will his father help put Tate back on the right path?

Maggie Advises Holly

Holly (Ashley Puzemis — here are 5 fast facts) dumped Tate over the Sophia fiasco, and she feels quite self-righteous about it.

Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) knows all about that feeling. But she also knows where it can lead. So she offers her granddaughter some food for thought. Will Holly listen, or would she rather be right… than with Tate?
