Both Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) have extensive experience with husbands returning from the dead. That’s old hat.

They have less experience with losing children… then seeing that dead child’s widower dating the woman who pretended to be their child… back from the dead. But that’s exactly what Jennifer is facing with Chad (Billy Flynn) dating Cat (AnnaLynne McCord). She won’t stand for it and so seeks Kayla’s advice.

Thomas Isn’t Playing

Thomas (Cary Christopher) didn’t even know that Cat had tried to pass herself off as Abigail (Marci Miller)… or that she and her brother were plotting to kill Chad.

Nonetheless, he isn’t thrilled with the new relationship. Especially because he found out about it from a spiteful and bratty Rachel (Alice Halsey). Thomas confronted his dad about it. And now Chad has to come up with some answers on the spot.

Bringing Down EJ DiMera

Of course, Cat is only still in Salem because she’s working with Rafe (Galen Gering) on infiltrating EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) organization and exposing his dirty dealings. Their plan so far seems to be… Step One: Infiltrate EJ’s organization. Step Three: Expose his dirty dealings. It’s the Step Two: How do we do that… which seems a bit foggy.

But Rafe has an idea. Will Cat go along? Especially now that she’s dating EJ’s brother?

Stephanie’s Past Resurfaces

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) just finished telling Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) — vaguely — her past with Jeremy (Michael Roark — here are 5 fast facts) when, what do you know, the man himself showed up on her doorstep, flowers in tow!

Stephanie was not pleased. She has lots of questions for her ex. Maybe one of them will be: What kind of school hires a new teacher in October? (And does Salem have only one elementary school?)
