He’s little, but he’s tallawah! Cary Christopher is steadily making a name for himself in the acting world, and this week, he got his moment to shine on Days of Our Lives as Thomas DiMera. His performance was so powerful, he’s been named Soap Opera News’ Performer of the Week for October 6–10.

What Happened this Week on Days of Our Lives?

This week, Thomas found himself hit with not one, but two major bombshells — all thanks to Rachel Black. First, he found out his dad is dating Cat Greene. Then came the real kicker: Cat had rolled into town pretending to be his back-from-the-dead mom.

It was a lot for anyone, let alone a kid, to handle — but Thomas didn’t shy away. When it was time to face Chad, he came in hot. No sugar-coating, no holding back. Initially, Thomas liked Cat. That’s back when he didn’t know the full story. But once the truth came out, it was game over.

Thomas joined the growing list of family members, like Julie, Jack, and Jennifer, who just couldn’t wrap their heads around how Chad could be with someone who pulled such a cruel stunt. Kissing her? Dating her? Thomas was furious — and that’s putting it lightly.

To make matters worse, Chad had planned to break the news to the family himself, but Rachel beat him to the punch, at least where Thomas was concerned. And once the truth was out, Thomas wasn’t about to keep quiet. He told Chad exactly how he felt. No filter, no fluff. Jennifer walked in just in time to catch Thomas blurting out the big reveal — that his dad is dating Cat — before storming out.

Through all of this, Cary Christopher absolutely nailed every beat. The frustration, the disbelief, the heartbreak, the anger — it was all there.
