B&B Recap November 5: Steffy Congratulates Hope

At the office, Steffy looks over the designs and tells Ridge she understands why they wanted to bring Deke on.

Speaking of which, they head to the showroom, where Petra is modeling one of the new looks.

Steffy loves it and tells Hope she’s excited to see what Deke brings to the table — from what she’s hearing, his designs are definitely better than his taste in men.

Steffy then takes a moment to congratulate Hope, not just on the designs, but also her engagement to Liam.

Daphne chimes in that she’s happy for Hope, too. Hope smiles and tells them how much it means to hear that. She says her relationship with Liam feels different this time — she’s genuinely happy that she, Liam, and Beth get to live together as a family again.

Steffy points out that they were about to lose Liam, and that’s one miracle right there. She’s happy that something good came out of the whole ordeal: Hope is engaged to be married to Liam again.

Daphne then asks Ridge if he’s as surprised as she is by the sense of friendship between these two women. She thinks it’s great to see them getting along, and Ridge hopes it lasts. Steffy agrees. Hope, however, says she sees no reason for it to last. Steffy points out that after everything they’ve been through, they really are all one big family.

Remy Pleads with Deke Again

In the design office, Deke tells Remy how disappointed he is to learn what he really did.

Remy explains that he was a different person back then — lost and confused. Deke tells him the whole thing showed a complete lack of morals, but Remy insists he did have morals.

He was just scared of losing Electra as a friend. Remy points out that Deke wouldn’t understand because he was born out of the closet, but for him, his family had a real problem with it. He says he deeply regrets what he did and begs Deke not to let this come between them.

Deke can hear the regret in Remy’s voice and see that he’s truly remorseful, but he can’t help wondering if it’s only because he got caught.

Remy Promises to Get Help

Remy insists that if that were the case, he never would’ve come to Forrester for the introductions. He admits he should’ve told Deke earlier and says he’s sorry — that’s not the person he wanted Deke to know. For the first time, Remy says, he finally sees a real future for himself, and it’s because of Deke.

Deke is lost for words. He cares about Remy so much, but it’s clear he still has some demons to face.

Remy insists that any demons he had are gone now. However, Deke tells him he still has some serious issues to work on. Remy promises that he will — he’s sorry for what he did and for keeping it from Deke. He vows to get professional help and work through everything.

Remy begs Deke not to give up on them. Deke, however, asks for a little space — at least for now — and Remy understands why. He promises to earn Deke’s trust back, insisting there’s no way he’s losing him over this.

B&B Recap November 5: Bill and Liam Are Brought up to Speed

Over at the Spencer estate, Liam and Bill hear from Electra, Will, and Katie about Deke’s relationship with Remy. Bill promises Electra that if she has any problems with Remy, she should come straight to him.

Electra says she was finally starting to put it all behind her — she was moving on, even though she’d never forget. But now, seeing Remy again has brought it all back.

Katie agrees it’s crazy this is happening in the middle of all the Luna chaos. She tells Electra she has nothing to worry about — Luna won’t have anything to do with that child once it’s born. Katie reminds her that Will loves her very much, and that’s what she should focus on.

Electra thanks them for their support, and they remind her that they’ve got her back no matter what. She says she doesn’t want to think about all that right now — especially since they have something to celebrate: Liam’s engagement. Bill smiles and tells Liam how proud he is of him for putting his family back together.

Liam admits he’s proud of himself, too. Then Bill announces that Beth will have a special role in the wedding. Electra guesses she’s the flower girl, but Bill says no. Katie suggests maid of honor — still no.

Will jokes that she’s the priest, and Bill tells him he’s pretty close. With a big grin, Bill reveals that Beth will be officiating the ceremony. Liam smiles proudly, saying they wouldn’t be the family they are today if it weren’t for their miracle baby.

As Liam talks about how precious Hope’s life and their family are, Bill takes it all in. He looks Katie straight in the eye, stretches out his hands, and she places hers in his — a gesture that brings a proud smile to his son’s face.
