Can General Hospital Redeem Martin?
What happened to Martin on General Hospital? He was never the greatest guy in the world, but he recently took an evil turn. It may be possible to turn him around.
Key Takeaways
- Martin really screwed up by forging a will to give the Q mansion to Ronnie.
- Drew has been a bad influence on Martin.
- Laura is disappointed in her brother, which upsets him.
- Martin can be redeemable, but has a lot to make up for.
Martin Went Wrong
Martin (Michael E. Knight) was furious with Tracy (Jane Elliot). He may have had a good reason because she got his ex-wives to gang up on him, and he ended up in jail. That could make anyone angry, but Martin was out for revenge and went way too far.
The attorney forged a fake will to take the family home away from the Q matriarch. If that wasn’t bad enough, he tried to blackmail and force Ronnie (Erika Slezak) to sell the mansion to Drew (Cameron Mathison), of all people. Drew’s evil may have rubbed off on Martin, but hopefully it can be rubbed off.

Martin Needs Redeeming
Drew is a lost cause, but Martin doesn’t have to be. There is good in there somewhere.
Laura (Genie Francis) will keep him out of jail, but she asked him to leave her home. Her brother may be at rock bottom after his stunt. Drew took Martin down a dark path, and now it is time to turn it around. The attorney cares very much what his little sister thinks of him, and her disappointment and anger spoke volumes.
Martin was once a halfway decent guy. His clientele has always been questionable, but he was a good son to his beloved mom and a great boyfriend to Lucy (Lynn Herring). Martin needs to get rid of Drew and make up for what he did to the Qs. Who knows, maybe he and Tracy could even kiss and make up. Now, that would be a great storyline.
