Putting Xander on Notice

Xander (Paul Telfer) has been making moves lately, and not everyone is thrilled about them. Firing Brady (Eric Martsolf) is just one decision that’s rubbed people the wrong way — and it may have caught the attention of the one person he didn’t expect: Marlena (Deidre Hall).

John may not be around to keep an eye on Basic Black, but Marlena certainly is. That company is John’s legacy, and she’s not about to let his hard work crumble under questionable leadership. Not on her watch. So is this the reason Marlena puts Xander on notice in tomorrow’s episode? It sure looks that way.

Being Honest and Prepping Rachel

As for Brady, he may be down, but he’s not out. He and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) have been growing closer by the day, and now she’s sitting on some honesty that could impact their bond.

The timing couldn’t be trickier either, especially after Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) made it clear that Sarah needs to stay in her lane when it comes to Rachel (Alice Halsey). Will Sarah tell Brady about that warning? That’s still up in the air.

Meanwhile, Kristen and Belle (Martha Madison) focus their attention on Rachel — and it’s not hard to guess why. The truth about what really happened with EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) has been hanging over everyone, especially since Kristen took the fall to protect her daughter. Is Rachel finally ready to speak up?

Leo Struggles and Gwen Goes on the Offense

Elsewhere, Leo (Greg Rikaart) tries desperately to get Dimitri (Peter Porte) out of his head. Losing Javi (Al Calderon) was already a painful consequence, but letting go may prove harder than expected.

And just when things couldn’t get messier, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) goes on the offense. Why now? That remains to be seen, but in Salem, there’s always a reason… and usually a reckoning.
