Abe (James Reynolds) disliked the idea of Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews — here’s what you should know) working for his mother’s family. He remembers what happened when Theo’s mom, Lexie, was sucked into the DiMera clan’s drama. Theo assured him he could handle it, even though he had no idea what he was up against.

It’s only been a few days, and Abe already hates what being CEO is turning his son into. Paulina (Jackée Harry) supports Theo’s choices, much to Abe’s chagrin. But Roman (Josh Taylor), who knows all about being married to a woman about whom there are just some things Roman doesn’t want to know, urges Paulina to withdraw completely from the situation.

Friend in Need

While Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) celebrate becoming parents — without knowing that EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is the one responsible for it finally happening — Grandpa EJ is sulking at home, feeling sorry for himself and questioning some of his most recent — and past — life choices. Family Break Up

Rafe (Galen Gering) was the foster parent of record when it came to baby Tesoro, but Javi (Al Calderon) and Leo (Greg Rikaart) decided they’d be the ones taking over, thank you very much. Foster parenting is intended to be a short-term arrangement.

Maybe Javi and Leo needed to be certified to know that. Because they seem completely shocked that they’ve had to give Tesoro up. Javi is recalling losing his own child years earlier. Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) comforts him. But is Javi’s relationship in danger now that he and Leo no longer have Leo as a buffer?
