Sarah Confronts Xander

Xander’s (Paul Telfer) lies are coming back to bite him, and the timing couldn’t be worse. Just when he and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) finally found their footing again, the truth comes crashing down and threatens to wreck his hard-won happiness.

Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) couldn’t shake the feeling that Xander’s been lying about not being the one who attacked Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), even though Sarah initially had her doubts, too.

Unable to ignore her instincts, Maggie confronted him and begged for the truth. And, of course, that’s the exact moment Sarah walked in and caught the tension in full swing.

As Maggie filled her in, Sarah decided it was time to settle this once and for all. She looked Xander dead in the eye and begged him to tell her he wasn’t the one who attacked Philip. But he couldn’t do it. The truth came out, and now Xander has to face the fallout.

Will his blissful reunion with Sarah come to a screeching halt? Is this where their marriage hits the breaking point? What will Sarah do now that she knows the truth?

Johnny and Chanel Fear

Elsewhere in Salem, another couple’s doing fine, but not without a few nerves. Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) are still on good terms, yet both are worried about how the adoption of little Tesoro will play out. The two will confide in each other, but let’s just say that fear is still bubbling under the surface.

Amy Runs Into Javi and Leo

Meanwhile, Days spoilers for October 24 tease that Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Javi (Al Calderon) have a run-in with Amy (Shi Ne Nielson). Now that Amy knows Tesoro is her grandson, she may want to start bonding with the little guy — and this encounter could give her just that chance.

Stephanie and Alex Navigate the Past

And over in another corner of town, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) are forced to face the past. With Stephanie’s ex, Jeremy (Michael Roark), back in Salem, things are… well, less than smooth.

But if we know Stephanie and Alex, they’ll find a way to navigate the rough waters — even if it means steering around a few emotional potholes first.
