Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) reunited in captivity in the DiMera crypt. Javi (Al Calderon) questioned Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) about Tony’s disappearance. EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) informed Brady (Eric Martsolf) that Kristen escaped the prison and Brady was forced to tell Rachel (Alice Halsey). Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) diagnosed Marlena (Deidre Hall) with carditis. Later, when Brady and Rachel went to visit Marlena, Rachel caught her dad hugging Sarah.

Xander (Paul Telfer) came knocking on Marlena’s door, but Brady informed him she was in the hospital, then accused him of working with the missing Kristen. EJ and Chad (Billy Flynn) discussed the disappearances of their siblings. Gabi suggested to Rafe (Galen Gering) that he go on a dating app, at the same time Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) and Jada (Elia Cantu) went on a date to the book shop. Gabi later convinced Chad to join a dating app. A mysterious figure followed Stephanie (Abigail Klein) home and when their takeover arrived at the door, a mystery person poisoned Alex’s drink. But when it tasted strange, Alex chose not to drink it. When EJ and Rafe ran into Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) at the pub, the three discussed Sami (Alison Sweeney).

Rachel asked Brady if he’s fallen in love with Sarah, but he assured her they’re just friends. Gabi revealed to Ari (Marissa Reyes) the story of how she was conceived and Nick’s (Blake Berris) scheme regarding Gabi’s pregnancy. Aaron (Louis Tomeo) asked Ari to come with him to visit a catatonic Sophia (Rachel Boyd). After they left, Sophia began to blink. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) learned Mark (Jonah Robinson) was doing research for EJ and questioned him about his work, but he revealed it was his first day. In the lab, Mark discovered a deceased lab subject. EJ confided in Susan (Stacy Haiduk) about him being blamed for Marlena’s late diagnosis. Brady and Rachel ran into Sarah at the pub and Rachel made sure Sarah got pistachios in her sundae. After Rachel confronted Sarah and Brady about what she learned and learned Sarah never meant to hurt her, she tried getting Sarah not to eat the sundae but was too late. The trauma of Sarah’s allergic reaction led to Rachel remembering she shot EJ.
