Channing Tatum and his daughter, Everly, stepped out for a rare, joint red carpet event—and his child with Jenna Dewan looked so grown up in new photos.

On Tuesday, Sept. 9, Tatum and his 12-year-old attended the Los Angeles English dub premiere of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle in Hollywood, Calif. The actor voices a character named Keizo in the English version of the animated film.

For the outing, Tatum donned a dark blue suit with a cream-colored undershirt. Everly, meanwhile, rocked a light blue, floor-length dress with ruffles across the neckline and cascading down the side. She wore her hair down while posing for pictures on the red carpet beside her famous dad.

Tatum opened up about what his daughter thinks of his acting career during an interview with E! News at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival. During the chat, he admitted that Everly “has seen tons” of his movies, but unfortunately, she “doesn’t care.”

“She’s like, “Whatever, I don’t wanna see those,'” he told the outlet. “She acts like she doesn’t care…I’m never gonna be cool to her.”

During a 2023 sit-down with Today, Tatum discussed single fatherhood with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.

“I didn’t plan to be a single dad, that was not in the cards in my planning at the least,” he explained. “And I was pretty nervous. I was like, ‘She’s a girl.’ I was like looking up YouTube on how to braid her hair. I didn’t want to be the dad who was bringing her to school looking like she had just slept on the street.”

When asked what kind of parent he is, Tatum responded, “I have no idea, I don’t know. I’m just trying to get by. I think like every other parent, you’re just trying not to mess your kids up. But you know you’re going to.”

He continued, “When I knew I was going to have a kid, I was like, ‘All right, I’m probably going to be the parent—I plan to be the parent—who was probably going to get her in more trouble than I kept her out of.’ And then as they kind of get older, you start to realize, ‘Oh, I have to set boundaries.'”

Tatum and Dewan welcomed Everly in 2013. After meeting on the set of their 2006 film Step Up, the former couple married in 2009, before Dewan filed for divorce in 2018. She is now engaged to Steve Kazee, and they share a son, Callum, 5, and a daughter, Rhiannon, 1.
