Emmerdale Danny Miller’s two-word tease in major crossover update

The explosive one-off episode will air early next year

Emmerdale star Danny Miller admitted he “can’t wait” for viewers to watch as the ITV soaps join forces.

The Emmerdale actor made his debut in the Yorkshire-based soap as Aaron Dingle back in 2008, and he’s had quite the turbulent time while in the Dales.

Earlier this year, his whirlwind relationship with newcomer John Sugden came under threat when ex-husband Robert Sugden unexpectedly returned from prison.

After he attempted to put a stop to the wedding, Robert was disappointed as Aaron chose John, but things continued to snowball until all of John’s crimes were exposed.

This included him killing Nate Robinson, holding Mackenzie Boyd captive and throwing himself and Aaron over the edge of a cliff to frame Robert.

However, just when viewers thought his reign of terror would finally be over, he fled the country with the help of Caleb Miligan.

Now, with his “wanted” poster seen over at Weatherfield police station in Coronation Street, fans are expecting his return during the huge ITV soap crossover early next year.

It’s already been confirmed that Danny Miller will be involved in the hour-long episode, with Vicky Myers who plays DS Lisa Swain also announced.

Taking to his Instagram, Danny reacted to the explosive trailer that’s dropped ahead of the episode.

He emphasised that he “can’t wait”, as he shared: “Can’t wait for you all to see this… WOW!!!!!”

The atmospheric trailer shows the aftermath of the crash on a dark and stormy country road near the village of Hotten. Desperate voices call for help in the darkness as the emergency services arrive.

Fans of both soaps will recognise them as David Platt, Tracy Barlow, Liam Cavanagh, and Aaron Dingle.

Viewers will also be able to vote for which pairing they want to see a scene from. All will be filmed, but only one can air on the night.

Emma Atkins will be filming a scene with Alison King, James Hooton confirmed he’ll be filming alongside Andy Whyment, and Nicola Wheeler will be taking on David Nielson. Mike Parr will also be sharing the spotlight with Corrie legend Kate Ford.
