Emmerdale fans have predicted serious consequences for Marlon after the latest plot twist.

In the latest episode of the soap, April was attempting to find a way out of trouble with a social worker after she accidentally left drugs out, which Leo found. Meanwhile, Dylan and Ray discussed finding a way to move April away from home.

April talked to the social worker privately, but Rhona listened in. When April said she felt a lot of pressure at home due to her successful parents, she was furious.

She began berating April, causing her to leave. At the end of the episode, April asked if it would be better if she moved out, and Rhona said yes.

Marlon was devastated, and chased after April, with fans now thinking this could all have further consequences for him. Among fans posting on X was @Matt528chap who said: “Now both Rhona and April really annoyed me in this scene-Yes April deserves the telling off but Does Rhona really want April to end up back where we were last Christmas-February this year?

“This could all end with Marlon having another stroke!”

Another fan, @RyanSoapKing25, posted: “Rhona needs to be careful – all this unnecessary stress could trigger another stroke for Marlon.” @Wee_Westie29 wrote: “It’s risky having Ray give April and Dylan a place, Celia could have them doing all sorts besides drugs.”

@alexdavenport4 said: “I am wanting April to keep causing aggro between Marlon/Rhona but that will cause stress for Marlon and may cause another stroke and then everything goes but to normal as they reunite so maybe just cool it a bit April.”
