Confronted with interrogation from social services regarding her younger brother Leo’s ecstasy consumption, April’s primary concern was evading the fury of malevolent Celia.
April sought advice from Ray and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) following her terrifying confrontation with Celia, with Ray adopting a harsh stance towards the teenagers, instructing them to concentrate on settling the outstanding amount, satisfying Celia’s demands and swiftly removing social services from the equation.
April was in a state of panic as she was guided through her compulsory interview with the social worker, where she was compelled to lie about Leo’s real situation.
After the latest episode aired, viewers quickly took to social media to share their theories on the upcoming plot developments.
One fan shared their thoughts on an Emmerdale Facebook group: “I think in the end Ray will turn on Celia and save the kids from her and free himself.”

Jaye Griffiths, who plays Celia, recently spoke about the dark storyline and twist: “At last the audience have seen the familial link between her and Ray and the fact she is the mastermind behind it all.
“There is lots more drama to come but I feel that the context of the whole operation is now apparent and so the audience will now be fearing how trapped these kids are as it’s very clear Celia and Ray are not beginners at this.”
