Emmerdale favourite reveals ‘two surprise Christmas arrivals’ in festive spoiler

Emmerdale has teased what is in store for fans in the upcoming festive episodes on ITV, with Natalie J Robb revealing surprise Christmas arrivals

Emmerdale has offered soap enthusiasts a sneak peek at the forthcoming Christmas scenes on the popular ITV drama.

Providing a taster of what’s to come, Vicky Thomas, who’s directing the Emmerdale Christmas Day episode, revealed: “This Christmas morning the day starts with them all outside the Woolpack.

“It’s a joyous scene which includes many of our villagers and sets the scene for a lovely Christmas day ahead.

“In the scene, Chas calls out of the upstairs window of the pub. Charity down below is serving mulled wine and calls back up to Chas urging her to do some work and soon we find ourselves visiting the different houses on Christmas day.

“I really hope that the audience feel they are a guest at each of the houses we feature this Christmas. It is always fun filming Christmas in October and November but it can feel strange too.

“But as a crew we all dress in Christmas jumpers and it feels very festive.”, reports the Express.

Meanwhile, one beloved Emmerdale star has spilled additional details about the approaching storylines, disclosing that viewers will witness “two surprise Christmas arrivals”.

Natalie J. Robb, who’s portrayed Moira Dingle since 2009, teased what lies ahead for her character this yuletide: “This Christmas Moira, Cain and the family are all going to be together. So it’s lovely as for once the family is together for Christmas Day.

“In fact we have two surprise Christmas arrivals to add to the mix and there are some quite amusing scenes where one of them tries to get Cain to dance. It is fun and there is nice family stuff going on so I hope people enjoy it.”

Looking ahead to Moira’s storylines in the New Year, 51 year old Natalie revealed: “I’m really looking forward to it as there are lots of good things coming up.

“We have the big episodes before and then Corriedale. But Moira is going to have quite a rocky time. It’s going to be stressful. The Celia drama will have a knock on effect.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV, with episodes also available to stream from 7am on ITV X.
