Emmerdale Ray’s killer finally revealed as fans say ‘I did not see that coming’
Evil Ray Walter was killed weeks ago and Emmerdale fans finally know exactly what happened to the villain on his last day on Earth
Emmerdale have finally revealed who killed Ray Walters.
A special week of episodes of the ITV soap have been playing out after Ray was exposed as a drug-dealing people trafficker who operated a slavery ring from Butler’s Farm.
Monday (January 19) and Tuesday (January 20) and Wednesday’s (January 21) episodes focus on main suspects Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry), and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock).
During Thursday’s (January 22) episode, Ray remained determined to flee the village and start fresh elsewhere.
With Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) ready to call the police, Ray threatened little Eve, leaving Paddy and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) in torment as they debated what to do.
Arthur Thomas (Alfie Clarke) wasn’t willing to let Ray go without a fight either and knocked him down before stealing his bag, hoping that would stop him from being able to leave.

There was further violence when Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) got his hands on Ray, having been updated on his crimes by Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).
He very nearly succeeded in killing him, until he was interrupted by Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) so quickly fled the scene.
By the end of the episode, Ray was in Paddy’s living room, threatening harm to both him and Dylan.
However, in a shocking twist, Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) made a surprise return to the village after being confirmed to be dead leaving Dylan, Paddy and Ray gobsmacked.
Fans will have to watch the episode to find out what happened next, with some viewers already sharing their thoughts on social media.
