Emmerdale‘s Laurel Thomas finally drops her pretence tonight – as she warns her son Arthur that she remembers every second of their nasty showdown last week. Is there any way forward for mother and son?

1. Laurel reaches breaking point

Gabby apologises for accusing Arthur of pushing Laurel. This makes Laurel feel guilty, as she knows that Gabby was bang on the money.

Once they’re alone, Arthur moans about his sister pointing the finger at him, but Laurel finally snaps and makes it very clear that she remembers him pushing her over.

Arthur is forced to face the consequences as Laurel calls him out over all of his recent outbursts. Can they continue living under the same roof?

2. Jacob’s frustrations grow

Jacob gives Sarah another opportunity to tell him the truth over why she’s been stealing cars with Cain. He knows that he isn’t getting the full story, but Sarah keeps quiet because she doesn’t want to betray Cain’s confidence.

Jacob and Sarah’s marriage seems to be facing more strain by the day, as this issue threatens to come between them. Will Sarah’s loyalty to Cain undermine her relationship?

3. Cain pushes his luck too far

Cain has more mischief on his mind as he convinces Kammy to join forces with him to steal another of Joe’s cars.

Kammy agrees to concentrate on distracting Joe at The Woolpack while Cain steals his keys. But after already being tricked by Cain once, is Joe really prepared to be duped again?

4. Graham tries to intervene

Graham continues to play both sides in the Dingles vs Tates battle by visiting Cain at Butler’s Farm and giving him some advice.

With pressure already piling up, Cain is vulnerable as Graham encourages him to solve all his problems by selling the farm.

5. Jai and Kerry’s secrecy continues

Jai and Kerry continue to sneak around as their fling remains undetected.

There’s a near-miss for the secret couple, but Jai sees another side to Kerry when she bonds with his son Archie.
