Emmerdale star Amy Walsh shares heartwarming baby update

Emmerdale‘s Amy Walsh has revealed the sex of her second child in a heartwarming social media post. The actor, who plays Tracy Metcalfe on the soap, announced the exciting news of her pregnancy earlier this year.

Walsh already shares a four-year-old daughter called Bonnie with her husband Toby-Alexander Smith (who played Gray Atkins on EastEnders)On Boxing Day, the couple posted a joint Instagram video featuring Bonnie and her six male cousins, with the caption: “New addition to the family incoming!”

“When it’s your last Christmas before becoming a big sister… will I still be the only girl in the family?” read the on-screen text, as the kids all posed together in their matching Christmas pyjamas.

The video then switched to a clip of the family at a sunny outdoor party, presumably filmed this summer. In the clip, someone kicks a football and pink powder explodes in the air, revealing that the new arrival will be a girl.

“Girl power coming in 2026,” confirmed the caption, with the family all jumping into the pool to celebrate.

Walsh first shared her pregnancy news back in September with another sweet Instagram video featuring Bonnie.

“Mummy and Daddy have got a special secret to tell you,” the star can be heard telling her daughter. “Mummy has got a baby in her tummy. A baby sister or brother for you.”

The black-and-white clip then sees the couple resting their hands on top of Bonnie’s as they all slowly lift them up to uncover a scan of the baby. “Smith/Walsh baby 2.0 incoming 2026,” read the caption.
