Viewers will recall that Paddy’s dad Bear Wolf accidentally caused the death of Ray not long ago, when the villain – who had exploited Bear in a modern slavery scheme – attempted to murder both Paddy and youngster Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle).

Following Ray’s demise, the trio of Dylan, Paddy and Bear attempted to conceal the incident and kept Bear’s involvement under wraps until he ultimately came clean.

Whilst Paddy fights to shield himself and Dylan from prosecution whilst maintaining Bear acted in self-defence, everything crumbles in upcoming episodes when Bear loses his nerve during another police questioning session.

Having already admitted to the accidental killing, Bear chooses to falsely claim he intentionally murdered Ray in a bid to protect Paddy and Dylan from discovery.

However, Dominic reveals Bear’s latest gambit triggers additional complications, and things aren’t looking promising, reports the Mirror.

He revealed: “Paddy thinks they’re all going to prison now, and that’s the end of the line. After everything they’ve done, he thinks they’re all doomed. It’s about telling the truth now after months of lying so there’s got to be repercussions of that.”

Dominic revealed that Paddy will dread what Bear might blurt out next, and whether he’ll inadvertently reveal Paddy and Dylan’s connection to the killing. He elaborated: “He’s worried about that but he’s more worried about what they’re doing to his dad.

“He knows he was already suffering with depression and that’s what led to him leaving the house. I think he’s worried that the pressure of this is too much for him and h’es going to say something that he’s not supposed to say, and not the rehearsed line.”

With DS Walsh convinced Paddy assisted his father, the recent development with Bear prompts both Paddy and Dylan to conclude it’s time to come clean about what truly occurred.

Dominic revealed: “Paddy’s been questioned by Walsh, and he knows she’s absolutely cracking. She’s on it completely. If there’s a way, she’ll find it, she’s brilliant.”

However, Paddy is determined for Dylan to stay clear of trouble, and suggested he might take the blame for the youngster and prevent him from owning up.

He continued: “He thinks about what it will do to his life if he goes to prison. What chance does he have for the rest of his life? Even getting a job. It’s not the best start in life so he’s beside himself about that and blames himself.”

Dominic confessed that Paddy wouldn’t survive behind bars either. He remarked: “I don’t think he would do very well at all, I don’t think he’s the sort of person that would go in and become the daddy of B Wing. He can’t defend himself, he’s weak and he would be exploited.”

He also believes that Paddy would struggle to forgive himself if Bear ends up behind bars. He stated: “He’s trying to makeup for lost time with Bear and he feels guilty for the whole situation, so he’s trying to be a father figure for Dylan and for Bear.

“He thinks he’s failing consistently and worryingly, making things worse. He means well and he’s trying to do his best but the decisions he makes are terrible. Paddy would not forgive himself for a long time, he’d blame himself.”
