Starring as Belle Dingle since 2005, Eden won the British Soap Award for best young actor in 2007 and won it again in 2013.
Eden has tackled some big storylines including her most recent one that saw Belle Dingle become a victim as husband Tom King ran a vicious campaign of abuse against her.
He became physically violent on a few occasions including one scene where he ran her arm under scalding hot water after he found out she had been taking her birth control.
She finally received justice as the villain was sentenced to three years in prison after subjecting Belle to assault and coercive control in December.
Tom reprised his role briefly as he sat rather glumly in his prison cell, and met with Belle one last time hoping to change her mind about getting a divorce.

Although shortlisted for Serial Drama Performance at the National Television Awards, Eden didn’t win, and instead the award went home with EastEnders star, Steve McFadden.
It echoes a similar story to the British Soap Awards earlier this year, where Eden lost out also. It was a landslide win for EastEnders just in time for their huge 40th anniversary.

Ahead of the announcements, Emmerdale posted their stars all glammed up on the red carpet. One snap showed Eden posing alongside her on-screen brother, James Hooton.
James joined the soap in 1995 as Sam Dingle. As a beloved character in the Dales, fans know him as being part of the Dingle clan as well as being married to Lydia Dingle, who had disastrous dates with Paddy Kirk and Rishi Sharma before settling down with Sam in 2017.
The actor left the soap briefly in 1998 before returning in 2000 and staying put ever since. Outside of Emmerdale, the actor has worked on Peak Practice, The Bill, Heartbeat, and Touching Evil.
