Emmerdale’s John Sugden prepares to kill Aaron Dingle in chilling first-look

Emmerdale’s John Sugden is set to take drastic action next week, as he prepares to kill his husband Aaron Dingle in a chilling hospital scene – will he go through with it?

A sneak peek of next week’s Emmerdale has unveiled the chilling moment John Sugden plots to permanently silence his spouse, Aaron Dingle.

Aaron is privy to all of John’s sinister secrets but is currently comatose after being hurled off a cliff by John himself.

John survived the fall and since regaining consciousness, he’s been adamant that Robert Sugden, his own brother and Aaron’s former partner, was the one who pushed them off the precipice.

The local constabulary and villagers are under the impression that Robert attempted to murder them both out of jealousy, oblivious to the fact that Robert’s allegations about John being a murderer are indeed accurate.

They remain in the dark about Mack Boyd’s dire situation, chained up in a subterranean bunker, left to perish by John who has kept him captive for weeks.

Everything hinges on Aaron regaining consciousness to unmask John, liberate Robert and rescue Mack. Whether this transpires remains to be seen as John swears to end Aaron’s life, it appears, next week.

In the aftermath of the terrifying incident, John will stealthily enter Aaron’s hospital room when it’s devoid of people. Keeping mum about his clandestine visit, it seems he intends to execute his threat to Aaron that we witnessed this week, reports the Mirror.

In a previous episode, we saw John inform Aaron that he couldn’t allow him to awaken from his coma, vowing to kill him. A fresh snippet set to air next Wednesday shows Aaron still in a coma, battling for survival.

John bides his time until the nurses vacate the room before he slips in, endeavouring to avoid detection as he does so. We see Aaron unconscious as John steps into the room and lets the door shut behind him.

The fate of poor Aaron hangs in the balance, leaving viewers questioning whether John will murder him or be apprehended before he can act.

Audiences are urged to tune in next week for answers, with John’s actor, Oliver Farnworth, hinting at what might transpire in a chat with The Mirror. When quizzed about Aaron and Mack, Oliver hinted at potential peril ahead.

Naturally, the actor couldn’t divulge specifics about upcoming episodes or the conclusion of the storyline, so there’s a possibility he’s leading us astray. But could his remarks imply that more characters are in jeopardy?

Oliver warned us that “everyone is in danger”, but we’ll have to wait and see how events unfold.

Friday’s episode saw Matty Barton imploring Victoria Sugden to heed her incarcerated brother Robert’s words, questioning if he might be speaking the truth about John and Aaron’s predicament.
