Dead Man Walking

The General Hospital spoilers promo video for the week of September 29 teases that Nina breaks the news to her Aunt Liesl that yet another member of their family has been resurrected. “Nathan. Your son,” Nina whispers as they stand in the hallway at G.H. “He’s alive.” It seems as if Obrecht doesn’t quite believe that her son could have possibly survived that gunshot to the chest seven years ago, because she has a very skeptical look on her face as she and Britt approach Nathan’s hotel room. But when Nathan smiles at his mother, Liesl’s entire demeanor morphs into one of astonishment. Will she be as angry with Nathan for his “death” as she was with Britta for faking hers? Or will Liesl be thrilled to have her other child back in the family fold?

Next, Spinelli is heard saying, “Something feels very wrong.” Is Maxie’s current partner talking about the unexplained return of her late husband? Meanwhile, the promo shows Alexis resting on a couch with her eyes closed when a man’s hand brings the Cassadine dagger up to her throat, and she jolts awake. Is Alexis having a nightmare? Or might Sidwell, months after he showed her that he’d found the dagger at Wyndemere, be trying to use her family’s weapon against her?

Pregnant Pause

The video also teases that one of the women in Port Charles is having a baby… but who? Elizabeth is heard asking someone, “Any chance you could be pregnant?” as the video flashes to Britt, Molly, and Josslyn before finally landing on a positive pregnancy test!

The final portion of the promo previews the reading of Monica’s will. Jason, Olivia, Ned, Michael, Brook Lynn, and Tracy — along with the mysterious woman who showed up at the Quartermaine crypt on Friday played by Erika Slezak — are gathered in the living room as Alexis stands before them, reading Monica’s last wishes. “This should be interesting,” the mysterious woman proclaims as a shocked Tracy swings her head in Alexis’s direction. How is the woman connected to Monica? And who will inherit Monica’s house?
