A Miracle Arrival for the Jacobz Family

On Monday, Luke and Raychel’s family officially grew to four as they welcomed baby John James Scott — lovingly nicknamed “JJ.” The proud dad took to Instagram to share a series of emotional photos capturing the newborn’s first moments.

In one image, Luke beams as he cradles his son for the first time. Another shows Maisie gently meeting her baby brother, while a third captures the family of four in a tender moment, with Raychel holding their newborn close.

“On Monday, our little family of three grew a little bigger, and we are all so in love already. Welcome my baby boy John James Scott,” Luke wrote in his caption.

He revealed that their son’s name carries deep family meaning:

“We named him after my Dad, Raychel’s Dad, and uncle. Named after the men who helped shape both our lives so their legacy can live on.”

Luke’s post also included a heartfelt message to his wife, praising her strength and courage during pregnancy.

“Raychel, your bravery, love, true grit, and determination to give our Maisie a best friend for life is nothing short of incredible,” he gushed.
“I saw such strength in you that I never thought possible. I love you with my heart and my soul and promise to teach our boy to be kind, caring, protective, and loving. He will carry the legacy of the great men he is named after.”

In a final note to his newborn, Luke added:

A Journey of Hope and Resilience

The couple’s story has inspired many. Speaking to Woman’s Day earlier this year, Luke revealed that the pregnancy came as a complete surprise after years of fertility struggles.

“We were actually able to fall naturally with number two — I jumped up and down and lost my mind,” he said.

Luke and Raychel met in 2017 and began trying for a baby the following year. After multiple miscarriages and rounds of IVF through Adora Fertility, they finally conceived their daughter Maisie just before their wedding, which had been postponed twice due to the pandemic.

“We were so close to not trying anymore because it was just so hard,” Luke admitted. “But now we’re blessed with two beautiful children, and I’m the happiest man alive.”'On Monday, our little family of three, grew a little bigger and we are all so in love already. A Beautiful New Chapter

For Luke, best known for his role as Angelo Rosetta on Home and Away, this marks a new and joyful chapter. Surrounded by his wife and two children, the actor’s message of gratitude resonated with fans who’ve followed his journey from heartbreak to hope.

“We are all so in love already,” he wrote simply — a sentiment that perfectly captures the joy of new beginnings.'Raychel, your bravery, love, true grit and determination to give our Maisie a best friend for life is nothing short of incredible,' he gushed
