Kate Linder Brings Y&R Castmates Together for First Annual Camp Dream Benefit Tea

The Young and the Restless star Kate Linder, who portrays Esther Valentine, is bringing her signature dedication to service to South Florida this winter. She will host the first annual Charity Tea on Sunday, December 7, with proceeds going directly to Camp Dream, an organization that provides life-changing summer camp experiences for children and young adults with special needs and disabilities.

Stars Come Together for a Cause

Linder will be joined by several of her castmates from Y&R, including Christian Le Blanc (Michael), Bryton James (Devon), Camryn Grimes (Mariah), and Hayley Erin (Claire). CBS12 morning anchor Sam Kerrigan will emcee the event. Together, the group is volunteering their time to support Camp Dream’s mission of making camp accessible to all children, regardless of financial need or the severity of their conditions.

What to Expect at the Event

Guests will enjoy a classic afternoon high tea at Benvenuto in Boynton Beach, Florida. In addition to the tea service, the day includes both a silent and a live auction. One highlight item sure to draw attention is an exclusive set tour of Y&R, guided personally by Linder — a prize that can only be won by bidding in person.

Fans will also have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with the cast, followed by an autograph and photo session. Licensed Y&R merchandise will be available for purchase courtesy of Warner Marketing Inc., which will also provide gift bags for all attendees.

Supporting Camp Dream

Since 1996, Camp Dream has worked to provide recreational, educational, and social opportunities for children and young adults with moderate to severe disabilities. Run entirely by volunteers, the organization ensures that no child is turned away, regardless of ability or financial situation. Proceeds from the tea will help fund both the summer camp and Camp Out programs, continuing the charity’s tradition of inclusion and joy.
