Lisa Riley ‘last’ update before I’m A Celebrity appearance from Emmerdale co-star

The actress, who is best known for playing Mandy Dingle, was this week confirmed in the ITV reality show’s 2025 line-up

Lisa Riley’s Emmerdale co-star has revealed her last appearance on the long-running show ahead of her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here stint.

The actress, who is best known for playing Mandy Dingle in the soap, was this week confirmed in the reality show’s 2025 line-up after being heabily rumoured to be heading into the jungle this year.

Lisa has already been seen making her way to Australia this week, ahead of the much-loved programme’s return, with Ant and Dec as hosts, this Sunday (November 16) on ITV at 9pm.

As Lisa’s involvement was confirmed, a video was posted to her Instagram account in which she could be seen in the Emmerdale village, closing the door on her character’s business.

In the clip, she says: “Well, that’s the business closed for weeks. The rumours seem to be true. See you in Australia.” She’s then seen picking up a hat and putting the Australian flag around her shoulders.

Emmerdale co-star Bradley Riches, who plays Lewis Barton, was quick to respond, as he commented on the post: “Omg this video is good! Who’s running your social media [eyes emoji].”

He later revealed that it is in fact him who will be promoting Lisa’s time in the jungle. Sharing a new post on Instagram on Tuesday (November 11), the actor shared: “It’s OFFICIAL – our girl Lisa Riley is in the jungle!! Who’s as excited as I am?! Because I am LOSING IT

“While Lisa’s off living her best jungle life, I’ll be running her socials – @brad_riches – (dangerous, I know). She told me not to push the votes for trials… but OH COURSE I WILL! Let’s vote Lisa for EVERYTHING – we need drama and we certainly need the laughs!

“So, my TikTok dances are on pause while we crown the one and only Lisa Riley. Get ready for the most Gen Z jungle socials you’ve ever seen. What type of content do you wanna see? #TeamLisa #ImACeleb #LisaRiley #GenZTakeover #JungleQueen.”

Now, Bradley has returned to Lisa’s social media pages with a snap of the Bury-born soap star before she left for Aus. In the picture, Lisa could be standing outside Mandy and husband Paddy Kirk’s home, with the Australian flag now outside.

Alongside the post, Bradley wrote: “This was Lisa’s last day on set before she jetted off to Australia! She’s traded sheep sh*t for kangaroo balls (talk about an upgrade!)
