Fan favorite alert! The Young and the Restless is gearing up for some exciting moments this October and November — and at the center of it all is the beloved Michael Damian, who’s set to bring both music and romance to Genoa City.

Damian’s iconic character, Danny Romalotti, will be saying “I do” to longtime love Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) in what promises to be one of the most talked-about soap weddings of the year. But before Danny walks down the aisle in November, fans will get a special treat: Michael Damian is bringing his music to the screen once again this October!

Michael Damian Releases New Single

Released today, Damian’s brand-new single, “Let Me Into Your Heart,“ is now available on all major streaming platforms — and he’ll be performing it on-screen during the Monday, October 20 episode of The Young and the Restless.

The multi-talented star, who’s also a successful singer, director, writer, and producer, took to Instagram to share the news, posting the single’s cover art and writing:

“My new single LET ME INTO YOUR HEART is out NOW on all your favorite streaming platforms from @virginmusic 🎼❤️🕺 I will be performing it @youngandrestlesscbs Oct 20th! Set your DVR.”

This isn’t the first time Damian has performed on the soap. He’s graced Y&R with several musical performances over the years, and even made a special appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful, where he sang his 1989 chart-topper “Rock On” — a cover of the David Essex classic that went on to hit No. 1 and earn gold certification.

His Music Career

Damian’s music journey started early as a member of his family band, The Weirz, who released two albums in the 1970s. His 1981 performance on American Bandstand, promoting his debut single “She Did It” (a cover of the Eric Carmen hit), ultimately landed him the role of Danny Romalotti on Y&R, which he’s played on and off since 1981.

Over the years, Damian has released five albums and earned multiple chart hits, including: “Was It Nothing at All” — which earned him a BMI Songwriting Award, “Rock On” — his biggest hit, and a true late-‘80s anthem and Several other Top 40 singles that helped define his music career.

Now, with “Let Me Into Your Heart,” Damian returns to his musical roots — and brings fans along for the ride, both on-screen and off.
