Occasionally, they believe they are a completely different person. This was the case with Ned (Wally Kurth) in 2023. He slipped while running to tell Drew (Cameron Mathison) that it was Nina (Cynthia Watros) who ratted him and Carly (Laura Wright) out to the SEC. He fell and hit his head at the Metro Court pool.

When Ned woke up at GH, he believed he was his alter-ego, rockstar Eddie Maine. Eventually, he returned to his loved ones as himself. Not only did he not try to help, but he also laughed at his cousin while he was gasping for air, accused him of faking it, and walked away, leaving him to die on the sidewalk. Thank goodness Gio (Giovanni Mazza), Emma (Braedyn Bruner), and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) were there to save him.

Ned needs to be himself for his family, but also to reveal what Drew did. Leaving someone in danger may not be against the law, but everyone needs to hear about Drew’s latest evil deed. If Tracy (Jane Elliot) doesn’t kill him after this, Jason (Steve Burton) might.
