‘First surgery went well and the second surgery is scheduled,’ shared the ABC soap star.

General Hospital star Carolyn Hennesy recently suffered an injury that’s leading to not one, but two different surgeries.

The actress had fans concerned after she suddenly canceled her upcoming cabaret show at Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Grill & Jazz club in Bel Air. Hennesy used X to announce that she had an injury that required her to postpone the show.

“Hello all, due to unforeseen circumstances, like a broken leg, my performance at Vibrato on November 5 has been postponed.  We’ll git ‘er done just not on the 5th.  😟,” she posted on X.

It turns out the recovery is a bit more than Hennesy bargained for. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Hennesy revealed she had one surgery down and one more to go this week.

“Quick Carolyn update: first surgery went well and the second surgery is scheduled for Thursday. All thoughts and prayers are welcome,” she wrote on a picture of her standing in front of Tulips.

Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) shared the Instagram Story via their official Stone Cold and Jacal Instagram page.

Fans were quick to send positive vibes and prayers Hennesy’s way. “Prayers to you 🙏 and a quick and easy recovery,” said a fan.

Another fan wrote, “Sending Healing Prayers ❤️🙏❤️,” while a different one shared, “Sending my thoughts and prayers to @carolynhennesy get well soon ♥️🌷🪻🌸😘.”

General Hospital’s Carolyn Hennesy Keeps Humor Amid Injury

When a fan on X declared it was “cruel” of the soap star to say she broke her leg without revealing how, Hennesy doubled down and told her followers to guess.

Some were pretty normal suggestions like “Weeding in the garden,” and Trapeze”; the latter is something Hennesy does often, so it was not far-fetched.

Other suggestions had to do with General Hospital. “You took on Jens Sidwell over Measure C, kicked his ass on Sonny’s behalf, but broke your leg in the process? Sorry to hear, sending best wishes for a speedy, easy recovery,” said one fan.

Another fan stated, “Your hair got too long and it put too much pressure on your high heels that you collapsed learning that Dex and Sam are really alive!”

“Diane and Max skydiving 🪂” and “You broke your leg kicking Michael Corinthos in the arse for going to Drew’s house the night he got shot,” were more answers.

Wishing Hennesy a very speedy recovery amid her latest injury!
