Deadline broke the news that Kasprzyk becomes only the fourth executive producer in the 38-year history of The Bold and the Beautiful, created by the late William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell. Initially, William J. Bell was the series EP for its 1987 debut. Soon after, it was the husband-and-wife duo who executive produced the drama series for nearly eight years, until February 1996. Eventually they stepped down and were succeeded by their son, Bradley Bell, who has steered the ship.

As for Casey Kasprzyk, he began his daytime career in 2003 with the soap and was promoted to Associate Producer in 2008 and Supervising Producer in 2014. Along the way, Casey has earned four Daytime Emmy Awards to date, an Outstanding Drama Series win for producing for the homeless/skid row storyline in 2011 featuring Susan Flannery (ex-Stephanie) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), and as a composer winning three times in the Original Song category.

Through the years, Kasprzyk has helped shape many memorable B&B moments such as the Emmy-nominated 7000th episode and a special two-part documentary filmed in Monaco. He has been leading international location shoots, overseeing productions in Italy, Australia, France, the Netherlands, Mexico, and Dubai, and directed the show’s summer shoot in Naples and Capri, Italy to name just a few.
