Eden is someone who likes to share the highlights reel of her life on social media just like the rest of us. However, she has also been dealing with a lot of personal pain. Back in November of 2023, Eden announced that her mother Natasha had died of cancer.

She posted an announcement on her Instagram page that said, “It feels bizarre and almost performative to make a post so personal on the most impersonal space. My mother has fought an intense battle with cancer for the past 2 and a half years and has now left us physically.”

Losing your mother at such a young age is certainly not easy. As expected, Eden took some time off from General Hospital to mourn the loss of her beloved mother and best friend. Actress Courtney Fulk took over as Josslyn Jacks at the time.

Eden also explained her departure on social media that same year. She wrote, “Wanted to hop on & wish everyone happy holidays. I think I’m gonna take some time off of Twitter, but first needed to give thanks for any of the support within the last few weeks. Been a strange year, but I still feel very lucky. Wishing everyone reading this love and health.”
