‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Tamara Braun Dishes On Sienna And Noah And Why Sharon “Doesn’t Trust Her As Far As She Can Throw Her!”
‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Tamara Braun recently dished to Soap Opera Digest about her character, Sienna Bacall, and her relationship with Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), as well as how Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) really feels about her.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sienna and Sharon May Have a Lot In Common
Sienna began an affair with a younger man, Noah, while married to Sharon and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) mortal enemy, Matt Clark, aka Mitch Bacall (Roger Howarth).
Matt once raped Sharon and tortured Noah’s parents back in the day. Sienna had no idea who her husband really was, but quickly found out when Matt locked her and Noah up in a storage room and threatened Sienna’s life if Noah didn’t agree to take fentanyl.

Victor Newman (Eric Braden) went ahead and drained the villain of all his assets, which means that Sienna is also broke. Now, Sienna is with Noah in Genoa City.
The Newman family has been cordial, but they are still proceeding with caution. Sharon is very suspicious of Sienna’s relationship with her son. In fact, the whole family is very skeptical of Sienna.
Braun explains that Sharon.
“Doesn’t trust Sienna as far as she can throw her! She doesn’t like Sienna for her son. It’s a married woman, an older woman with her son who’s been with Matt Clark.”
She continued,
“I mean, she wants Sienna as far away from her son as she can get! Look, this has just brought horrible, horrible trauma back into her life. She doesn’t need that. I, Tamara, understand that, and Sienna understands that.”
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sienna Is Shocked to See How the Newman Family Lives
The actress notes,
“Sienna is also contending with the culture shock of seeing the ultra-wealthy surroundings in which Noah grew up. She doesn’t want anyone to know that it fazes her when she walks into that ranch.”
It also doesn’t help that Sharon questions her intentions toward her son. Braun explained to SOD that Sharon and Sienna have so much in common because of Matt. She explained,
“These are two women who have similar experiences with a particular man who’s done them harm,”
She asserts. While Sharon may have some empathy for Sienna, given what Matt has put her through, she’s also a fierce mama bear trying to protect her son.
Braun also told the outlet how intimidating it was for Sienna to see how wealthy and powerful the Newman family is:
“This is old money, generational wealth, and there’s a game that gets played in that kind of environment that she doesn’t know the rules to.”
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: “It’s an Age-Old Story, Girl from the Wrong Side of the Tracks Showing Up”
The actress also sums up how Sienna feels walking into the whole situation,
“She’s like a fish out of water, but more than that, she’s like that person who showed up to a costume party and no one’s wearing costumes. She’s standing out, you know what I mean?”
Braun’s alter ego may also be feeling as if she’s sticking out like a sore thumb:
“Now that she’s in Genoa City, she’s thinking, ‘What was I thinking, thinking this is going to work. ‘” I’m not going to be accepted here. She’s trying to figure it out, but I also think she knows that this upper echelon environment is not for her.”
She concludes her take on Sienna’s response to the Newman family,
“It’s an age-old story, girl from the wrong side of the tracks showing up. It’s a lot to overcome.”
Sienna also understands Sharon and her reluctance to accept Sienna in her son’s life, but Noah’s mother isn’t about to scare Sienna away from Noah.
“I do think Sienna tries to show her respect, but she’s also not going to be told what to do or not do,”
Braun said.
